Kyle has over a decade of power generation O&M experience.  Kyle has a BS in Nuclear Engineering, an MBA, and is a licensed professional engineer in NC.  Immediately prior to joining ACT Power Services, Kyle was the VP of O&M for one of the nation's largest solar only O&M providers at Cypress Creek Renewables.  At CCR, Kyle was responsible for a portfolio comprised of over 3GW of solar facilities located in 18 states and a work force of over 100 personnel located in 12 states. Kyle began his career with Duke Energy, where he gained experience in nuclear plant engineering, maintenance, and operations.

Justin is a licensed electrician in NC, SC, GA, TX and eligible for license reciprocation in many other states.  Justin is a veteran of the solar industry with various roles and responsibilities from:  installer, electrical apprentice, crew leader, and Master Electrician.  Most recently, Justin was the Director of Operations for Cypress Creek Renewables (CCR) dating back to 2016.   In this role Justin helped build out, train, and manage the field electrical technicians for CCR O&M.  This group managed over 3 GWs of operating solar assets with zero OSHA recordable injuries and 99.7% system availability.  Prior to CCR, Justin was Director of Operations at Baker Renewable Energy (Baker Roofing) from 2014-2016.  In this role Justin managed all aspects of estimating, engineering, procurement and construction.




Rebecca is a North Carolina licensed attorney and a mechanical engineer. Rebecca earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and a JD from Campbell University School of Law where she was on Campbell’s Law Review and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  While in law school, Rebecca worked with the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association where she was introduced to the legal intricacies of the renewable energy industry.  Rebecca also has professional legal experience in litigation, construction law, and patents. Prior to her career in law, Rebecca was an engineer at Duke Energy’s Brunswick Nuclear Plant where she was responsible for monitoring and maintaining plant systems, as well as ensuring plant compliance with federal regulations. As ACT Power's General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, she can blend her engineering and legal skills to bring a unique perspective to solar O&M.

Kristin brings over 14 years of working knowledge as an experienced Office Executive to the ACT Power Services team. Kristin earned a BA in Communication from East Carolina University with a focus on Public Relations and Business Administration. Kristin is also a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Agent. Prior to joining the ACT team she spent over 14 years in Property Management overseeing all aspects of business operations for several large properties and portfolios in both Greenville, NC and Raleigh, NC. Working as Business Operations Manager, Kristin will implement processes and practices across the organization to ensure effective corporate operations.






Glenn has nearly a decade of utility scale solar O&M experience. Glenn earned a BS in Appropriate Technology from Appalachian State University and has been working hard to improve the value of renewable energy ever since. Glenn holds numerous Inverter OEM Service certifications and is a level 2 Thermographer. Glenn began his career with Baker Renewables as an Asset Management and Protection Construction Manager.  He then transitioned to Cypress Creek Renewables where he was instrumental in developing one of the industry's first comprehensive drone programs and was promoted to a Regional Manager in charge of over 700 MWdc of PV facilities.  Immediately prior to joining the ACT Team, Glenn was a Manager for the Special Projects Group at CCR. In this role Glenn helped manage insurance and large warranty claims, lead root cause analysis task forces, and other technical and logistical services.




Drew obtained a BS in Renewable Energy Technologies from Appalachian State University in 2011.  He began in the QC/QA side of solar with Strata from 2011-2014 and helped the organization grow from 5mw to over 500mw of  distributed generation projects.  In 2014 Drew took on a role as a technical asset manager at RadianGEN.  In this position Drew monitored 500MW of commercial and industrial scale projects across North America across a multiple DAS platforms, generated portfolio performance reports for project stakeholders, and coordinated work with onsite personnel.  Most recently, Drew worked at Cypress Creek Renewables where he was the plant manager for a 75mw utility owned project for 2 years before transitioning into a medium voltage role where he primarily worked on MV repairs/issues and oversaw the transformer oil testing program.




Juergen has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Drexel University and over a decade of experience constructing power plants all over North America including in some of the most remote and logistically challenged work areas such as Northern Canada. In 2019 he transitioned to renewables with Sun Tribe Solar, Virginia’s #1 behind the meter EPC company. With Juergen’s wide range of construction experience in field engineering, project controls and client relations, he developed and strengthened Sun Tribe Solar’s construction team as Director of Field Operations.  Juergen joined ACT Power Services in September 2020 as Senior Operations Manager where he will blend his years of big construction and commercial solar to ensure that ACT Power Services is a leader in O&M.

Paul has 10 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, primarily in utility scale wind power. Paul began as an O&M technician in his home state of Texas, before transitioning to construction as a commissioning technician in 2012. Paul joined one of the largest wind turbine OEMs, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, as a Commissioning Supervisor in 2016 and led the successful commissioning of over 700 MW of wind energy projects. During his time with Siemens he also became a certified generator and power converter specialist and assisted with the development of energy isolation and LOTO procedures. Paul brings experienced technical knowhow and a strong culture of safety to the ACT Power Services team.

Brandon began his career by completing a 5 year apprenticeship and joining the IBEW as a journeyman.  From there, Brandon became an electrical superintendent where he managed large scale industrial and commercial projects.  Brandon was first introduced to the solar industry over a decade ago when he installed New Hanover County’s first two grid tied PV systems.  Brandon then went on to support PV construction and commissioning for some of the industry’s top firms including FLS Energy, Power Secure, and Duke Energy.  Immediately prior to joining ACT, Brandon worked for four years as a Senior Field Engineer supporting ABB inverters.  Brandon holds a BS in Business Management from Columbia Southern University as well as a number of industry and professional certifications.  Brandon’s vast experience at all stages of a project’s lifecycle combined with his practical knowledge and formal training make him an incredible addition to the ACT Power team.

Alejandro has 10+ year experience in Project Management for Simel Ltda. one of Santa Cruz’s oldest electrical engineering companies in Bolivia, South America. Alejandro started as an assistant project manager doing cost and project proposals, material procurement, field/site supervision and project progress development on multiple power line construction projects in rural areas of Bolivia.  His journey in the renewable energy field started when he moved to North Carolina in 2018 and entered the Renewable Energy Management program at NCSU. After completing the program he started working for Southern Energy Management (SEM) as a Field Inspections Technician. Later he transitioned to installation and O&M of commercial and residential solar systems and battery storage. Throughout his career, he has constantly found that his greatest successes have been achieved in innovative, team-oriented, and fast paced environments where his drive for constant improvement can be satisfied.

Michael graduated from Rend Lake College in Illinois with his Information Technology degree. His main concentration was in Cisco Systems, but he has multiple certifications in the IT field. Michael recently began with ACT Power Services as a Field Service Technician and is looking forward to gaining hands-on experience to further his career in the solar energy sector. Not only does Michael have extensive knowledge of IT systems, but he is also able to apply this information to multiple areas of his work as a Field Service Technician in order to ensure comprehensive maintenance planning and efficient work output. Mike brings an unique skill set to the team and is excited to work with other individuals from which he can learn and build his knowledge base.






Matt earned a BS  in mechanical engineering from Florida Atlantic University. Prior to entering the solar industry, Matt worked in the cellular communications industry designing cell phone towers and concealments.  From there, he worked as an operator at Cypress Creek Renewables where he was responsible for managing plant operations for over 2.5 GW of solar.  Matt was then promoted to become an Operations Engineer, where he managed a solar portfolio of 60+ sites and worked together with asset managers, third parties, and field technicians.




Michael brings over a decade of O&M experience from various parts of the energy industry. Michael began his energy career serving aboard the USS Enterprise as an Electronics Technician/Reactor Operator. From there he became an Auxiliary Operator at a 550MW Natural Gas Combined Cycle Plant in Rincon, GA. Previous to ACT, Michael was the Lead Control Center Operator at Cypress Creek Renewables where he led the day to day operations inside the control center.

Chris brings valuable solar O&M experience to the team. Chris earned his BS in Physics from Michigan State University and his MS from Appalachian State University and has been working to expand his skillset to touch all roads of the renewable energy industry. After leaving Appalachian State he worked with Carolina Solar Services as their Operations Administrator, operating and evolving their CMMS ecosystem to increase operation efficiency. Before leaving CSS, Chris was promoted to Operations Specialist continuing to hone the operations department processes and procedures, as well as carrying responsibility for internal metrics. Working as an Operations Engineer at ACT, Chris will primarily be working with remote operations and performance analysis of the ACT fleet.

Jim is a Tarheel born and bred, graduating from UNC with a BA in Public Policy with a focus on environmental policy and a Minor in Sustainability Studies.  After school, he has worked with a number of organizations across the NC Solar Industry, ranging from renewable energy advocates, utility scale developers, and commercial solar EPCs. Jim went on to work with E8 Energy Group as a Development Manager in which he generated 200MW+ pipeline of commercial and utility scale projects, assisted with construction team planning and managed client relationships.  He is looking forward to building on his solar experience and expanding into O&M with ACT.




Devan earned his M.S in Appropriate Technology from Appalachian State University and is interested in all aspects of sustainability.  While in school he interned on local farms and greenhouses and worked in the sustainability office on campus to learn about more than just the energy sector.  His path has  allowed him to work in many parts of the solar industry, where he has installed and sold residential solar systems, located potential sites for solar farms, and performed O&M on Strata Solar's 2.2GW portfolio where he learned the basics of operating solar farms.  By joining the ACT team Devan has returned to O&M and hopes to improve as an operator through continued education and learning new skills.




Nick has an AS in Engineering and earned his BA in History from the University of Colorado at Denver.  Before entering the solar industry, Nick began his career working for an Electric Utility.  Nick then worked in the hotel industry as an Operations Manager and in the healthcare sector as a Patient Services Manager.  From there, he became an 8th Grade Civics teacher, educating the future of our great country.  Leaving the customer service and education fields behind, Nick brings with him 20 years of experience in fast paced, demanding environments where surety and decisiveness of action are required. Returning to the power industry, Nick hopes to continue his education and become a more effective and efficient operator, while helping ACT provide the best possible O&M service to our portfolio.




Shaundra earned a B.S. in Electronic/Electrical Engineering from Virginia State University. She has been waiting to break into the solar energy industry since college. She believes that solar will be a positive pathway for the future and is glad to be part of the change. With her enthusiasm, she also brings in hands-on skills with safety compliance and quality control testing. Before she started at ACT Power Services she started her career as a Quality Control Technician in manufacturing for two product lines at GE, Limitamp Motor Control and Medium Voltage Motor Control. Both of these types of equipment are used in paper, steel, cement, rubber, mining, petroleum, chemical, and utility-type industries. She then transitioned to UL as a Test Engineer. Working with internal and external clients in testing IT equipment, laser devices, lighting fixtures, control devices,  components, and more for electrical safety compliance. She is looking to jump in feet first in the solar O&M and learn as much as possible and grow within the company.
